The last Week!!
This last week was fantastic!!
We saw lots of species, lots of whales and lots of dolphins!
We saw lots of sperm whales, very close to the shore.
We are stopped near one (at 50 meters), the whale is very calm, resting at the surface. We turn off the engine and stay there!
It was on a very good day, the sea is so calm that the boat almost doesn’t move. The whale approaches us, probably have curiosity to see what it is…
Then she goes away and also us. On the way back we saw other animals; other sperm whales, but those are babies! Very small, smaller than the boat; so nice!!
They pass us, not far, and after that we saw an adult going on the same direction. The lock out tell us that there are at least 20 sperm whales going on that direction.
On other day, we saw beak whales. They are 3, at least! They are passing swimming; it was possible to see then very well. They also show the beak and were possible to identify them. It was Gervais’ beaked whale!
Very beautiful animals!
We also saw common dolphins, atlantic spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and Risso’s dolphins!!!
